A well-cued program that features four different types of High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT). The workout's varied intensities and diverse exercises are both motivating and effective. The first section is pure fat-burning cardio. It includes both HIIT and true Tabata intervals (20 seconds of maximum effort followed by 10 seconds of "rest"). These moves range from lateral scoots and turns to vertical air jacks and squat jumps. The aero/tone segment continues with a similar HIIT-then-Tabata structure. Both formats alternate plyometric aerobics with always-changing toning sequences (e.g. "firewalkers," side lunges, wood chops and gliding-disc push-ups).
